I appreciate you dropping by my site and visiting.

For those of you who don't know me, I am just a techie that enjoys learning and sharing what I learn with others.

Currently, I work as a Sr. Software Engineer and a Data Engineer at Software Design Partners (SDP) in Chesterfield, MO. I also am the Business Intelligance and Data Warehousing Practice Lead there as well. Occasionally I write blog posts for them as well which you can check out on their site. As for this site, it is not sponsored by SDP and the views and the writings on this site are my own.

Working in business intelligance, I get to work with many different aspects of IT. This makes it necessary to keep up with many different technologies outside of the software engineering discipline. The majority of technologies I work and experiment with do tend to revolve around data manipulation in one form or another. This tends to involve database technologies as well as different aspects of infrastructure such as virtual machines or networking. I am quite lucky to know people in those other disciplines that tend to help point me in the right direction when I am learning something new or digging into a technology more. I am hoping to use this site as a way to keep track of some of the hard lessons learned as well as some of the things I find interesting along the way.

I hope that you will find some useful information on my site and join me as I continuously learn and share information about technology and related subjects on here.
